Border Crossing
Hong Kong ⇄ Shenzhen private cars normally cross via Shenzhen Bay Port or Huanggang Port. Shenzhen Bay is the smoothest option; Huanggang Port is open 24 hours and commonly used for late-night trips. Futian and Luohu are rail ports and are not used by private cars.
Crossing procedure (about 15–30 minutes): your driver picks you up at the agreed time and place; at the port, passengers get out with their travel documents to clear immigration; after clearing, you get back into the same car with the same driver. Please prepare valid travel documents in advance and allow extra buffer time for important trips.
